Ally joined the Whole Pet team in August 2017, bringing with her with three years’ professional experience as a canine behavior specialist and a passion for helping patients (and their humans!) feel welcome and safe as soon as they walk through the clinic door. She has worked and volunteered with Heartland Farm Sanctuary, Middle School U, and the Dane County Humane Society as an animal behavior and welfare educator for children grades K-8. Ally is currently pursuing her Fear Free certification to further enhance her knowledge of animal communication and safe handling, and to find new ways to help clients reduce stress in their fur-kids before the appointment even begins. Outside of the clinic Ally shares her downtown Madison home with her S.O. Andrew, their dandy gentleman cat Howard, and on the best days, her beloved family dog Zettie. Her hobbies include (very) novice photography, trick training with Zettie, reading, and adventuring outdoors in any capacity.
